What’s a writer like you doing in a genre like this?
July 12, 2009And at first she doesn’t get why I’d write a cowboy western.
Which is sad, because I’ve grown up in a small town with horses in the back forty for most of my formative years. I grew up going to horse shows and barrel racing. Some of my best friends actually like Country music (and, in total disclosure, I don’t leave the room when it comes on)!
My heart lies with gothic vampires who live to screw each other over, but my roots are covered in hay seed.
